Terms of Service<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThese Terms of Service govern the relationship\nbetween Dr Heitor Lopes (the “Provider”) and\nvisitors to the website who wish to obtain\ninformation about the services offered or to\nbegin a psychological-support process. \n

1. Service <\/h4>\nThe\nactual provision of services is governed by the\nPsychological Services Agreement and the\nInformed Consent, entered into separately.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The Provider offers one-to-one psychological support by video conference, aimed at senior leaders and decision-makers. The service is provided exclusively to adults, under a formal contractual relationship.<\/p>

The service provided is clinical psychological support. It is not an emergency service, psychiatric intervention, coaching, consulting or mentoring.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

2. Starting the service<\/h4>\n\u2192 Initial contact is made through the website form or by email to legado@heitorlopes.pt\n\n\u2192 The Provider assesses whether the request is appropriate and, where applicable, proposes an assessment session.\n\n\u2192 Service begins only after the Agreement and the Informed Consent are signed.\n\n\u2192 There is no provision of service without prior formalisation \u2014 contacting via the website creates no contractual obligation.\n

3. Complaints Book <\/h4>\nUnder Decree-Law no. 156\/2005 and Decree-\nLaw no. 74\/2017, the Provider makes available\nthe Electronic Complaints Book, accessible at\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Complaints submitted are forwarded to the Health Regulatory Authority (ERS), the body competent to review them.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

4. ADR<\/h4>\nIn the event of a consumer dispute, the user may turn to the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) bodies registered in Portugal, listed at\nwww.consumidor.gov.pt. For ethical matters, a\ncomplaint may be filed with the OPP’s\nJurisdictional Council\n(www.ordemdospsicologos.pt).\n

5. Fees & payment <\/h4>\nFee information is provided during the\nformalisation process and is not published on\nthe website, for ethical reasons and because of\nclinical personalisation. Fees are determined by\nthe level of intensity of the intervention, as\ndefined in the Services Agreement.\n\u2192 Services are\nexempt from VAT under Article 9(1) of the\nPortuguese VAT Code (healthcare provided by psychologist registered with the OPP). \n\u2192 Payment\nis made in advance, monthly, on the terms set\nout in the Agreement.\n

Practice &\nsupervision<\/h4>\nThe Provider practises with active OPP\nregistration, subject to the Code of Ethics (Reg.\nno. 898\/2024), and undertakes regular clinical\nsupervision in line with good professional\npractice. The activity is subject to ERS\nregulation as a healthcare provider.\n

Emergency & crisis <\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

8. Confidentiality<\/h4>

The Provider does not publicly confirm, deny or comment on the existence of professional relationships with clients, even where asserted publicly by third parties. Service related communication is conducted exclusively by email to legado@heitorlopes.pt. The website does not use clients’ names, images or testimonials. All communication respects the OPP Code of Ethics, in particular the provisions on advertising in regulated professions (Decree- Law no. 7\/2004, Article 8(1)).<\/p>

9. Governing law<\/h4>

These Terms of Service, and any contractual relationships arising from them, are governed by Portuguese law.
