Terms of Service
1. Service
The actual provision of services is governed by the Psychological Services Agreement and the Informed Consent, entered into separately.The Provider offers one-to-one psychological support by video conference, aimed at senior leaders and decision-makers. The service is provided exclusively to adults, under a formal contractual relationship.
The service provided is clinical psychological support. It is not an emergency service, psychiatric intervention, coaching, consulting or mentoring.
2. Starting the service
→ Initial contact is made through the website form or by email to legado@heitorlopes.pt → The Provider assesses whether the request is appropriate and, where applicable, proposes an assessment session. → Service begins only after the Agreement and the Informed Consent are signed. → There is no provision of service without prior formalisation — contacting via the website creates no contractual obligation.3. Complaints Book
Under Decree-Law no. 156/2005 and Decree- Law no. 74/2017, the Provider makes available the Electronic Complaints Book, accessible atwww.livroreclamacoes.pt
Complaints submitted are forwarded to the Health Regulatory Authority (ERS), the body competent to review them.
4. ADR
In the event of a consumer dispute, the user may turn to the alternative dispute resolution (ADR) bodies registered in Portugal, listed at www.consumidor.gov.pt. For ethical matters, a complaint may be filed with the OPP’s Jurisdictional Council (www.ordemdospsicologos.pt).5. Fees & payment
Fee information is provided during the formalisation process and is not published on the website, for ethical reasons and because of clinical personalisation. Fees are determined by the level of intensity of the intervention, as defined in the Services Agreement. → Services are exempt from VAT under Article 9(1) of the Portuguese VAT Code (healthcare provided by psychologist registered with the OPP). → Payment is made in advance, monthly, on the terms set out in the Agreement.Practice & supervision
The Provider practises with active OPP registration, subject to the Code of Ethics (Reg. no. 898/2024), and undertakes regular clinical supervision in line with good professional practice. The activity is subject to ERS regulation as a healthcare provider.Emergency & crisis
This service is not an emergency service.

The Provider does not publicly confirm, deny or comment on the existence of professional relationships with clients, even where asserted publicly by third parties. Service related communication is conducted exclusively by email to legado@heitorlopes.pt. The website does not use clients’ names, images or testimonials. All communication respects the OPP Code of Ethics, in particular the provisions on advertising in regulated professions (Decree- Law no. 7/2004, Article 8(1)).
9. Governing law
These Terms of Service, and any contractual relationships arising from them, are governed by Portuguese law. The courts of the District of Aveiro have exclusive jurisdiction, with express waiver of any other, save where mandatory law provides otherwise.
